I think I can recall my mother joking (with love in her heart) that since I was born on March 31st, it quite conceivably meant that I was the April Fool's Fool. Decide for yourself, those of you who wished me such a smashing birthday! Just last weekend, I was honored to be the inaugural performer and master of ceremonies for Carnevale Long Beach 2016! I remember how easy it was to surrender to the sun and the sea and the beautiful people 'long the boardwalk outside the Aquarium of the Pacific. The very conditions of the lyric I sang were reflected in the reality immersing me. My spirit soared as though I were singing and entertaining giù al vecchio Porto Antico.
As a few of you have heard by now, the only thing wrong with my new home Los Angeles is that it makes it hard to forgive myself for not moving here sooner! It suits me quite well so far. I thank all of you in my past hometowns who have graced me with your friendship, kindnesses, love, and shaping influences. Cheers to you... and come back again for more good newses and visual updates!

The above photos were two that I took while enjoying the surreal dusk beach at Encinitas, CA, in January. I remember feeling thrilled and enthralled way below my socially-appropriate age range and gender when I spotted whales feeding in the cooling light of the early evening.
