Commission a portrait

Portrait commissions are created in Faber-Castell Polychromos and Derwent Lightfast colours (both rated for ultimate lightfastness 100+ years under museum conditions) on Fabriano Artistico 100% cotton 300 gsm hot press paper, Strathmore 500 series 100% cotton Bristol Vellum or Strathmore 500 series 100% cotton Bristol Plate. All papers are acid-free and archival quality. Other paper options are available upon special request. The sizes offered below are most frequently requested. Please note: a 25% deposit is required to begin your commissioned portrait. Deposits are non-refundable once commission is underway. The remaining 75% balance is due upon completion before shipping. Shipping cost is typically $20-$30 per portrait when shipping within the continental U.S., for each portrait is insured at full value when shipping.

When you decide to commission a work of art, you will receive an invoice at your provided email address. Most major credit cards are accepted, as well as Venmo and PayPal. Once the deposit is received, your commission will begin. You will receive an update as your work of art progresses. When your commission is complete and you approve, you will receive a new invoice via email for the remaining balance due. Once remaining balance is received in full, your commission will ship to the postal address you provide. You will also receive a tracking number and shipping confirmation.
